Direct Billing to Alberta Blue Cross

You May Be Eligible for Subsidized Home Care Services

Did you know that Alberta Blue Cross offers a Client Directed Home Care program? The program supports people of all ages with their personal and home care needs.

To access home care services:

• you must be an Alberta resident with a valid healthcare card

• your needs can be safely met in your home

• you meet the requirements determined by an Alberta Health Services case manager.

Requesting an assessment is easy; all you need to do is call Health Link at 811. Health Link will arrange for an assessment by an Alberta Health Services (AHS) health professional who will help identify you or your loved one’s unmet needs. No referral is necessary. 

Once you’re approved, Allard Home Care will do direct billing, so you don’t have to worry about it!
